Lenten Adult Education Classes
Are you in need of a Lenten practice this year? If so, grab your Bible and join Dominican friar, Br. Bernard Knapke, in a seven-week series reflecting on salvation history from Adam’s creation to Christ’s redemption. We will spend each week considering one Old Testament patriarch and how he points to Christ. As we go, we’ll try to tie together all those stories we know so well: the Flood, the sacrifice of Isaac, the Exodus, and many more. In the end, it all points to the Paschal Mystery we will celebrate at the conclusion of Lent. The classes will take place in the convent (next door to the church), beginning on Tuesday, February 16 at 7PM. The classes will also be available through Zoom. Please contact the office (mstafford@immaculateconceptionchurchdc.org) for more information.
