Evening of Chant and Benediction

Join us for a candlelit evening of Latin chant and Eucharistic Benediction on Friday, April 8, directly after Stations of the Cross. The music ministry will present a section of the Ordo Virtutum by Saint Hildegard of Bingen. An allegorical morality play sung entirely in Latin chant, it tells the story of the downfall of a soul and the soul’s eventual redemption with the help of the Virtues, focusing on themes of penitence and forgiveness. The evening concludes with a Eucharistic Benediction.
